Curtis J. Godfrey, DDS
For more than 20 years, Dr. Curtis Godfrey has provided comprehensive dental care to individuals and families throughout Idaho Falls and the surrounding communities. He graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2006 and has built his practice around experienced, personalized care ranging from routine and emergency dentistry to advanced restorative and cosmetic treatment.
Dr. Godfrey’s broad clinical experience allows patients to receive many types of treatment in one familiar setting. He performs much of his own oral surgery, including dental implant placement, tooth removal, and socket grafting. He also uses CBCT imaging, digital design, and guided surgical techniques to support precise implant placement and treatment planning.
His additional services include clear aligner therapy, crowns, bridges, dentures, and complex full-mouth restoration. This comprehensive approach helps patients receive coordinated care from a dentist and team they already know and trust.
Cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry have been a particular focus throughout Dr. Godfrey’s career. He has completed hundreds of cosmetic cases, combining artistry, function, and restorative techniques to create natural-looking results. Patients are involved throughout the process so they can help shape the appearance of their smile from the beginning.
Whether treatment involves subtle cosmetic improvements, clear aligners, porcelain restorations, or a comprehensive smile transformation, Dr. Godfrey’s goal is to enhance each patient’s smile while maintaining an individualized, natural appearance.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Godfrey has completed approximately 7,000 units of crown and bridge treatment, ranging from restoring individual damaged teeth to rebuilding entire smiles. He continues to expand his clinical knowledge through more than 100 hours of continuing education annually with Spear Education in Scottsdale, Arizona. His advanced training focuses on comprehensive treatment planning, restorative dentistry, aesthetics, occlusion, and the management of complex dental cases.
Dr. Godfrey also evaluates airway and related risk factors as part of his comprehensive approach to care. He has trained with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and provides oral appliance alternatives for appropriate patients with obstructive sleep apnea or snoring.
Beyond offering a broad range of services, Dr. Godfrey brings decades of experience, advanced training, clinical judgment, and a kind, genuine chairside manner to each patient interaction. Whether a patient is seeking relief from tooth pain, dental implants, clear aligners, cosmetic dentistry, or full-mouth restoration, Dr. Godfrey and his team work to help them understand their options and move forward with confidence.
